It was an insightful discussion with Eng Seng in 2018 that made me realize Alliance must be doing something good and different to run a quality business for 30 years.

Financial planning was never part of my career consideration until I had the opportunity to speak with Eng Seng. That conversation helped me understand the importance of financial planning and how it impacts people and their loved ones.

Fast forward to present, I still look forward to creating positive financial impact by sharing professional advice, responsibly.

Five words that best describe me would be dependable, genuine, helpful, patient and rational.

If I am not a wealth solutions consultant, my second most ideal job will be a financial trader as I find a sense of gratification from analysing information and reaping the returns of a correct investment choice.

Fun fact: Batman is my favourite hero since childhood. Although his character is fictional, Batman is very inspirational with the way he overcomes pain and troubles. He epitomizes the phrase “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” and this helps me to persevere in face of adversity.

Being a Wealth Solutions Consultant is not the easiest job for me as an introvert. Motivated by a strong penchant to empower financial sustainability for all through proper planning, I push myself to slowly transit from an introvert to an ambivert by proactively saying hello first and reaching out to people. This is something I try to improve on a daily basis.

I am blessed with a supportive, caring and professional team at Alliance. It makes work not only a breeze but also extremely pleasant. My seniors are helpful and patiently show me the ropes to achieving holistic success - from healthy living to adopting a systematic approach to resolve financial worries.

Working and hanging out with the entire team feels great – even watching them perform at karaoke sessions are a joy.

Something that warms my heart: The spirit of accountability is prevalent in the team when clients encounter an issue. There are no finger pointing or shirking of responsibilities but instead the whole team works in a collaborative manner to liaise tightly with HSBC Life (formerly AXA Singapore), settling issues for our clients.
